Cr l initiative de l association Maroc Cultures, le Festival Mawazine Rythmes du Monde est un v nement organis chaque ann e au mois de mai Rabat, au Maroc. Ce festival s inscrit dans une d marche d ouverture sur les cultures en offrant au public un voyage musical aux quatre coins de la plan te. Chaque ann e depuis treize ans, cette rencontre internationale, qui a vu le jour en 2001, a pour but de faire d couvrir au Maroc les diff rentes cultures musicales du monde. Elle accueille tout aussi bien des artistes marocains que des stars de renomm e internationale en passant par des styles de musique traditionnels ou urbains. Le Festival Mawazine a acquis une notori t solide sur le circuit des manifestations culturelles internationales. Pendant neuf jours, le Festival accueille plus de 1 500 artistes en provenance du monde entier. A la cl : plus de 125 spectacles r partis sur 7 sites. Signe de son succ s grandissant, Mawazine a r uni 2 500 000 festivaliers et plus de 35 millions de t l spectateurs en 2013.
